Paul See
Executive Director of the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WVCDHH)
Paul See has served on the Board for WVCDHH for 15 years. He is looking forward to working with deaf and hard of hearing constituents in the state of West Virginia, while also collaborating with state agencies and organizations to better serve West Virginia. He will be working in two different offices: one in Moorefield (where he will be at for the most of time) and in Charleston. He is appreciative of the continuous support from the community.
Paul graduated from West Virginia School for the Deaf in 1993 and later earned a BA in Biology from Gallaudet University. Paul worked as an Environmental Microbiologist for the WV Department of Agriculture – Moorefield Field Office for 26 years. He tested the water quality of streams in the Eastern Panhandle to assist the Chesapeake Bay Clean Up Program and was responsible for testing soft-serve ice cream. Paul is very involved with many different sports. Not only did he play various sports during his high school and college years, he also coaches. He has coached basketball for WVSDB for 15 seasons, and currently coaches the Moorefield Middle School boys’ basketball and Moorefield High School football team since 2016.
